Modification: For the patients with qi deficiency of the kidney, 10 g of Tusizi (Semen Cuscutae) and 10 g of Fupenzi (Fructus Rubi) are added; for the patients with yin deficiency of the liver, 12 g of Shengbaishaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba) , 10 g of Ntizhenzi (Fructus Ligustri Lucidi) and 10 g of Hanliancao (Herba Ecliptae) are included; for the patients with prolonged sore throat with dark red colour, 10 g of Shashen (Radix Glehniae), 10 g of Xuanshen (Radix Scrophulariae) and 10 g of Maimendong (Radix Ophiopogonis) are added; for the patients with poor appetite and abdominal distension, 6 g of Zhike (Fructus Aurantii) and 10 g of Maiya (Fructus Hordei Germinatus) are included.
